The redevelopment of this high-security bluelight facility has been designed to meet the operational and training needs of its staff, while integrating seamlessly with the surrounding environment. Aston Fire Station

The design of Aston Fire Station was driven by a seamless fusion of the old and the new, blending the Grade II listed building’s historical features with modern operational needs. The introduction of a new extension, featuring a double-height glazed atrium, connects the historic building with contemporary spaces while offering transparency into the daily operations of the fire service.

The careful integration preserved the station’s operational functions on the ground floor, while modernising staff welfare and office spaces on the upper floors. This thoughtful reconfiguration maximises both functionality and wellbeing, making it an uplifting and efficient space that supports the fire service’s needs for years to come.

Coventry Community Fire Station

Bond Bryan partnered with West Midlands Fire Service to design a new, modern fire station in the heart of Coventry. The £5 million project, spanning 2,000m², aimed to enhance operational efficiency while creating a welcoming space for the community.

The design process spanned three years, resulting in a facility that serves as both an emergency response hub and a community asset.

Melton Police Operational Support Building

The design and delivery of the Melton Police Operational Support (MPOS) building for Humberside Police reflects the authority’s commitment to operational consolidation and modernisation.

Located on the Melton West Business Park, this facility enhances collaboration between Humberside Police’s Melton 1 and Melton 2 sites, offering improved functionality, sustainability, and operational efficiency.

Cleveland Fire Brigade Training Facilities

Bond Bryan were tasked with a two-phased development for Cleveland Fire Brigade, consolidating their non-operational facilities into a modern, purpose-built site at Queen’s Meadow Business Park, Hartlepool. The aim was to improve training capabilities while supporting local regeneration priorities.

By integrating the building into the surrounding landscape, we created a secure yet welcoming environment, benefiting both the fire service and the local community, who now have access to on-site leisure facilities. This project strengthens Cleveland Fire Brigade’s presence in Teesside, providing state-of-the-art facilities that meet evolving fire and rescue needs.

Bond Bryan’s vision for this project extends beyond constructing a building—it is about creating a space where two essential public services can operate seamlessly under one roof.

This state-of-the-art facility, currently under development on Middle House Lane, will serve West Mercia Police and Herefordshire and Worcestershire Fire and Rescue Service, ensuring they have the infrastructure needed to deliver exemplary public service.
