BBA announces London Studio

On 26th September award winning architectural consultancy Bond Bryan Architects welcomed eighty guests to celebrate the opening of their new London Studio. The event took place just a few steps away from the new Studio on Grays Inn Road at the Bond Bryan designed Westminster Kingsway College.

The event, attended by clients and consultant partners, allowed guests to view the College’s impressive atrium and contribute to an excellent social occasion.

Jonathan Herbert, Managing Director, welcomed guests and said,

“Building upon the success of our studios in Sheffield, Kent and the Middle East, Bond Bryan’s new London Studio will enable us to expand our services in London as well as nationally and internationally, allowing our talented team to design new exciting projects for the education and commercial sectors.”

Greham Raynham, London Director, reinforced Jonathan’s words by stating,

“We have a great platform upon which to build our opportunities in London and we are very much looking forward to working with existing and new clients and partners to deliver more fantastic projects.  The launch party has been a great success, it is pleasing to see so many familiar faces in one of our buildings.”

New Directors

Bond Bryan has appointed two new Directors.

Darren Southgate and Bruce Raw have been with the Bond Bryan for eleven and thirteen years respectively and both have been instrumental in the recent growth of our business.

Darren has led a number of major research centre projects, including the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing and Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centres. His skills within the workplace sector also have been vital in developing partnerships with new commercial clients such as Rolls Royce.

Bruce is particularly expert in the design of education environments.  At present he is leading a large team developing major projects for the University of Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University and Bradford College.

Jonathan Herbert, managing director, said, “We are delighted that two such talented and dedicated people have joined board.  They will remain close to projects but will also help guide us towards what we expect to be an increasingly bright future.”
