At Bond Bryan, we believe that the world of architecture is for everyone – and that includes you! That’s why we’ve teamed up with the Sheffield Sharks to create a series of fun and inspiring workshops for Year 7 and 8 students, showing you just how exciting and accessible architecture can be as you grow up.
Ever built a house in Minecraft or Roblox? Guess what – you’re already thinking like an architect!
But architecture isn’t just about designing buildings. There are loads of different roles in the industry, and they’re all important. From the architect, to accountants or marketing and roles like interior designer, landscape architect.
If you’ve ever imagined designing your own building, whether in a game or in real life, you’re already a step closer to a career in architecture. With a little creativity and curiosity, you can help shape the world around you, just like we do at Bond Bryan.
Design Your Own Sports Arena
Calling all creative minds! Alongside our workshops, we’ve got an exciting challenge just for you.
Imagine your perfect sports arena, it can be as wild, wacky, or wonderful as you like!
Think about your arena’s purpose
Will it be for football, basketball, swimming, or maybe even a mix of different sports? Could it have special seating areas, snack stands, or cool features like a giant scoreboard or a rooftop garden?
Get creative with your design
You can choose any method you like to bring your ideas to life!
Draw it:
Use pens, pencils, or paints to sketch out your arena.
Build it:
Create a 3D model using LEGO, cardboard, or anything you can find at home.
Design it on a computer:
Use your skills on computer games, such as Minecraft or Roblox to create your design.
Prizes
Three lucky designers will be invited to our Bond Bryan office in Sheffield for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience, where you’ll have the chance to showcase your design and experience what it’s like to be an architect for a day. Your design will also be featured on the Bond Bryan website.
Additionally, one standout designer will also be treated to a VIP experience at a Sheffield Sharks basketball game, including an exclusive tour of the arena — a fantastic project which was designed by our team at Bond Bryan from start to finish.

How to enter
Make sure to state the following on your email:
- Your full name
- School Name
- Year Group and Form
- Be sure to give your Stadium a name to help it stand out
