A careful choice of natural materials, simple shapes and forms in true “less is more” ethos
The initial scheme comprises three out of the eighteen contemporary villas across the residential site of the Bawtry Golf Resort in Doncaster (also being designed and delivered by Bond Bryan) all bespoke and unique in their designs with a common language and restrained palette.
A careful choice of natural materials, simple shapes and forms in true “less is more” ethos have been incorporated to take full advantage of the views across the golf course and deliver a very unique and high-quality place to
call home.
The intention is to create an open and welcoming feel to each of the houses, but still deliver a private feel from the front, provoking curiosity with glimpses of what could be behind doors. As you enter each of the houses, you are welcomed by double height spaces and immediate connection to the outside and the fantastic views of the golf course.
This scheme will create something completely new for Doncaster and the region and we are very excited to see these and others come to fruition.
The existing building is to be fully refurbished with the operational accommodation and appliance bays being retained at ground floor level.
Factory 2050 is the UK’s first fully reconfigurable assembly and component manufacturing facility for collaborative research.
