Bond Bryan Architects were appointed to Sheffield Hallam University’s Charles Street after winning a national design competition.  Now complete, it forms the gateway development for the University’s city centre campus.

Through collaborative research, Bond Bryan provided a state-of-the-art building supporting the changing pedagogical needs of the faculty, within a flexible and inspiring environment.  Utilising our specialists in space-needs analysis and briefing, we led the process, starting with visioning workshops to explore the University’s education vision.  Drawing on our experience with over 100 educational institutions, and examples from around the world, these workshops tested and challenged the pre-conceptions of the type of teaching space required.
