Senior Interior Designer

Due to an exciting and expanding workload, Bond Bryan are delighted to advertise an exciting opportunity to join our excellent and dynamic team as a Senior Interior Designer within our Sheffield Studio.

Through the continued expansion of our Interior Design Brand and as a result of a robust pipeline of work, we are looking to add to the team at a senior level in order to help lead, drive opportunity and deliver exciting and impressive schemes for our clients.

 

Role:

The job role will involve planning, designing, presenting, detailing, and supervising the delivery of Interior Design schemes, either independently or in support of our Architectural projects – always delivering schemes that are innovative, thoughtful, exciting and of the highest quality with a keen focus on sustainability. 

The role will involve the management and supervising of the Bond Bryan team as well as other external disciplines, in order to achieve the best possible results.

Expected duties for this role will include:

  • Liaising with clients and other parties to take and develop a brief through the duration of the project.
  • To attend site or client meetings as required.
  • To visualise and present ideas / concepts to both internal and external forums.
  • To produce yourself and/or supervise others in the preparation of presentation material as necessary.
  • To liaise with our Architectural and external Design Teams as necessary to ensure that schemes are well coordinated and delivered to satisfaction.
  • To be an ambassador for the Interior Design Brand and help to drive its growth both internally and externally.
  • To prepare and/or supervise the preparation of relevant RIBA Stage documentation and reports.
  • To have a good understanding of relevant building regulations and all relevant legislation.
  • To prepare detail design packages in co-ordination with relevant team members.
  • To have a good understanding of construction processes and materials / products available – as appropriate.
  • To prepare project fees and have an understanding of a projects financial position.
  • To ensure that projects are delivered on programme and within budget.
  • To be a mentor to the team and assist other team members fulfil their creative and professional potential.
  • To supervise the welfare and career development of other team members.
  • To participate / lead formal project and design reviews.
  • To attend training sessions and seminars as necessary.
  • To encourage other team members to do likewise.
  • To assist in future staff recruitment, and the development of the Brand as a whole.
  • To assist with Business Development – either individually or with others, in order to grow the Bond Bryan Interiors Brand.
