Bond Bryan are delighted to be shortlisted for Architectural Practice of the Year

Bond Bryan have been shortlisted for Architectural Practice of the Year at this year’s Education Estates Awards. These awards focus on some of the most important issues within the Education sector and recognise the very best companies, collaborators and projects – sharing best practice and inspiring others to adopt new and better ways of working that deliver outstanding results.


Over the past 30 years, Bond Bryan have been at the forefront of the pedagogy revolution, developing user-focussed learning environments that foster and cultivate innovative ways of teaching and learning. By working collaboratively with our clients and end-users, we always ensure the buildings we design and deliver are part of a collaborative vision and journey developed harmoniously between designer and user.



Recent achievements include


  • Collaboratively developing a £65m New City Centre Campus for Manchester College with SimpsonHaugh.
  • Winning a RIBA award for the University of Nottingham’s gateway Advanced Manufacturing Building.
  • Two RIBA awards (including a RIBA Sustainability Award) for our National College for High Speed Rail flagship Doncaster Campus.
  • Delivery of the new-build 1,200 place Mercia School in Sheffield, which also won a RIBA Yorkshire award.
  • Delivering the Innovation Centre, the first project to be built on the Kent Medical Campus, an educational research campus focussed on health and science.
  • At the forefront of MMC within education – Robert Clack School won the Best Use of Hybrid Offsite Technology Award at 2019’s Explore Offsite Awards and was Highly Commended at the South East Constructing Excellence Awards 2019.
  • Continued work with the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre campuses: utilising industry and research links to create world-class educational facilities like the RIBA award shortlisted Sir Henry Royce Institute for The University of Sheffield.


The Education Estates Awards Dinner takes place on the 15 October at The Principal Manchester.
