We are thrilled that our design for the Oasis Academy Don Valley has been Highly Commended in the Regeneration Category at the RICS Awards 2016 – Yorkshire & Humber.

This award honours exceptional improvements to urban, rural or coastal areas. The judges look for evidence to show that the scheme has conserved or improved the built or natural environment in a way that has contributed to the viability of the area.

Oasis Academy Don Valley is an all-through school located in the Attercliffe area of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England; the school opened in September 2015 and is sponsored by the Oasis Trust.

Geoff Halliwell, Project Director commented: “Our team worked really well with Sheffield City Council, Oasis Community Learning and contractor BAM and have delivered a high quality educational environment that befits the site and is a great asset to the community.”

The prestigious awards ceremony took place on 14 May 2016 at the Majestic Hotel, Harrogate.
