Bond Bryan Digital was established in 2016 as a consultancy specialising in digital delivery of construction projects. Our team has a passion for open standards and is recognised – both nationally and globally – as leaders in the field of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Information Management. Most recently, this leadership was recognised when we were voted the ‘Most Innovative Consultancy’ at the Building Innovation Awards 2019.

Due to an exciting and rapidly expanding portfolio, Bond Bryan Digital is looking for an experienced Digital Information Specialist (as an Information Manager on projects as well as in a wider BIM Consultancy role) to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious Digital Information Specialist – with a proven track record of working and leading on multiple projects across a variety of sectors – to join a multiaward-winning team. Our projects involve a mixture of working with clients, contractors and consultants and also include a number of research and development projects that are pushing the boundaries of current best practice delivery.

The role will be a mixture of developing information requirements and helping teams to deliver against those requirements. We also encourage our teams to push our thinking forward on every project that we deliver and we aim to improve our service every time we start a new project.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years (post qualification) experience and, for this post, will require a good understanding of how to support delivery teams with information delivery around open standards. Whilst Bond Bryan’s core business is Architecture, we would welcome and encourage anyone with other backgrounds to complement our existing team.

The location for this particular role is around London and the South East of the UK. The candidate will be based in either our London or Westerham (Kent) studio; however, the role suits an element of homeworking and we would be very happy to discuss flexible arrangements in this regard. We are happy to support home working, if desired, or working within our London or Westerham (Kent) studios. The role would also include some travel around the South East to support business development for Bond Bryan. Post-pandemic, there will also be some travel to our Sheffield and Birmingham offices, although we will continue to use technology to stay connected on a day-to-day basis.

Please note that this role is not a BIM Coordinator role and we are specifically looking for an individual who has experience of writing detailed information requirements from scratch and setting up the associated delivery for project teams.

The ability to work with a small team of passionate individuals internally – and also with clients, consultants and contractors – is essential, along with experience of delivering projects, from the early project stages through to handover. A strong understanding of national and international standards (including the ISO19650 series) is also essential – as well as a strong and practical knowledge of project delivery, including an understanding of procurement, contractual relationships etc.

Training will be provided on certain technical aspects of the role but knowledge, and a good understanding of, open standards (including IFC, COBie and BCF) will be hugely beneficial to the role.

Alongside the opportunity to work and lead on a variety of exciting projects, the successful candidate will join an enthusiastic, friendly and dynamic consultancy – which puts great emphasis on a healthy work-life balance and a collaborative company culture.

A competitive salary (based on experience) alongside a variety of company benefits will be offered to the successful candidate.

We encourage all of our teams at Bond Bryan to lead healthy and balanced lives. Our benefits include flexible working hours, free fresh fruit, subsidised regular social activities, a health benefits package, pension contributions and health insurance. As part of the firm’s commitment to professional development, Bond Bryan offers support time to undertake professional qualifications and studies. We also strongly support attendance at relevant conferences and events to help you to keep your knowledge current.

We strive to ensure that opportunities to work and develop at Bond Bryan are open to all. We treat all job applications equally – regardless of age, disability, gender identity or gender expression, race, ethnicity, religion or belief and sexual orientation.
