We have a fantastic opportunity for a number of ambitious, talented Part 1 Architectural Assistants to join our award-winning architecture practice within Sheffield and Birmingham. The graduate positions which we offer provide a unique hands-on experience on real projects, working with our design teams and clients.
As part of a Bond Bryan studio, you will be fully integrated into design teams – participating hands-on and collaborating directly with team members. You will work on projects from initial design feasibilities through to developing construction documentation and onsite experience. Successful candidates will be supported by a mentor and enjoy the friendly learning culture of the studio, both supporting your professional development and also offering a wide range of experiences during your placement year with us.
The practice operates from 4 studios – based in Sheffield, Birmingham, London and Kent – serving projects across the UK and overseas. There is an opportunity to work in a variety of sectors including Education, Residential, Leisure, Commercial and Advanced Manufacturing projects.
Assisting in early feasibility studies and design optioneering
Contributing to the design and delivery of projects
Use of ArchiCAD to detail and produce 3D Models
Production of working drawings, building regulations and construction information
Production of models and design material to support bids
Recent Part 1 Architectural graduate
A positive and committed attitude
Ability to work on your own and to deadlines
Willingness to help within the busy practice
University experience of using 3D Design packages, Lumion, InDesign and Photoshop
Experience of our authoring software ArchiCAD would be an advantage – however full training is given
